What is included
At Cape Handlers, we are passionate about helping you and your dog build a strong partnership through training, socialisation, and fun dog sports.
Our main training day is Sunday, when most classes take place and the club is at its busiest. We also offer specialised classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Membership gives you access to experienced trainers, excellent facilities, and a supportive dog-loving community. Members may also walk their dogs on the fields at any time when classes are not in progress.
The foundations of the KUSA Canine Good Citizen (CGC) programme are implemented in all our Puppy and Obedience classes, helping handlers build well-mannered, confident dogs. As part of your membership, you are also entitled to a free KUSA Canine Good Citizen Bronze evaluation. Please chat to your trainer for more information about the programme and how to prepare for the evaluation.
Visitors and members are welcome to enjoy reasonably priced snacks from the Cape Handlers Kitchen on Sunday mornings, with the bar open from 11:00.
Members also have access to our well-stocked club library of books, magazines, and DVDs.
